Fight against Xenophobia
Brasileiras do Mundo exists to combat Xenophobia and deconstruct stereotypes associated with Brazilian women living abroad, empowering immigrants to choose to live abroad and debating issues relevant to migration. Here we tell stories of immigrant women and create a support network connecting Brazilian women around the world and those who plan to migrate through the "Conte Com Elas" project.
Demystifying immigration
Migration is a process surrounded by stereotypes and stigmas - which benefit neither the immigrant nor those planning to migrate. The profile addresses the B side of the real and unfiltered experience of those who choose to live abroad, fighting against the glamorization of life abroad and demystifying "living outside Brazil".
Creating a Support Network
We empower women to choose to live abroad, sharing inspiring testimonials from immigrants in the four corners of the world. Real stories, from real women.
Project "Count on Them"
The project connects immigrants established abroad with Brazilians who intend to leave the country. Our volunteers are a point of support and are available by email to answer questions related to adaptation in the destination country, opportunities in the job market, among other topics related to life abroad.
